This year I was much smarter and did not stay up until 4am the night before making more jewelry. The reason being, I was not feeling well. This weekend was a blur for me, thankfully it well pretty well.
This was my second year doing the Last Best Craft Fair, and I definitely want to do it again in the future. I improved on sales from last year (which I was very thankful for), however I did have a piece of jewelry stolen. Having something stolen is never fun, but being there while someone did it and not noticing it, is much worse. I was pretty upset about it, but I understand there was nothing I can do about it so I just had to pick my head up and move on. I needed to be there for my customers. I would just like to say thank you to everyone from the show for all of their kind words, it really meant a lot to me. I also want to thank my mom for helping me during the show. I don't know what I would have done without my wrapper :)
Here are some pictures :)
Right after finishing the Last Best Craft Fair, my mom and I packed up the car again to go set up for the Holiday Open House at my co-worker and good friend's house. We brought all of my stuff from the show in the house, then went back home to get my mom's jewelry. After bringing all of her stuff in as well I was exhausted. I kept trying to wake myself up and try to find energy again, but I just couldn't. Again, I am very thankful for my mom because she finished setting up all of my jewelry.
The next day was the show, and I thought it went really well. There is always things to improve on, and I personally wish I promoted it more, such as on here or on Facebook. I was feeling better, and was able to function enough to be able to do the check out.
Here are some of the quick pictures I took of everyone's displays. I wish I had a picture of the three of us together!
My display :)
Part of my mom's display. Here is a link to her blog: http://treasures-trinkets.blogspot.com/
And finally we have my friend, Joslyn's, display. She did put earrings on the empty display, but it was after I took the pictures. You can check out her work on Etsy, She will be posting more jewelry soon.
All of our jewelry is available at the Jewel Box of Cape Cod in Sandwich MA :)

Starting the new year off right
With a blog post! I know I have been very absent lately, but no more excuses (school, work, life in general), I will be blogging more. I was very fortunate to have a very good Christmas season for my jewelry sales (thank you!), and I want to make sure that I am working hard to keep that up.
Things that I need to update you on:
-the Last Best Craft Fair
-Open House
Both of those will have separate posts for each of them, or maybe one since that weekend was kind of a blur for me. Not fun getting sick for shows, and school the week before finals.
Oh and a fun fact that I am excited to share. I will be going to Belize for two weeks at the end of May for school. I am very excited to get the opportunity to help the people in Belize get help medically. For those who do not know, I am going to school to be a nurse, and going to Belize will fill my service learning credits for school. I am busy saving money to pay for the trip, so any jewelry that I sell will be going towards that. So basically, not only does someone get a piece of jewelry, it gives me the opportunity to give back to people that are not as fortunate.
Until next time (which will be soon! I mean it this time)..
